Paperless office: Your patient charts, faxes and other ‘paperwork’ are completely electronic and eliminate the need for excessive paper.
Cotton towels: Using cotton over paper further reduces our paper use.
Dry vacuum system: Traditional dental offices employ a wet vacuum system where water is constantly being used to make the vacuum function. Using a dry vacuum system for your dental treatments does not use any water and therefore creates much less waste.
Digital radiography: Digital x-rays expose you to as little as 20% of x-rays versus conventional radiography. (A full mouth set of twenty radiographs is equivalent to a few hours of being outside in the sun.)
Compact fluorescent lighting (CFLs): This low voltage and very efficient lighting helps reduce the overall energy consumption at Westboro Station Dental.
